Hailed as the ultimate M3 in the series, the 2018 CS version remains the BMW worthy of all the superlatives. Enlarged cooling ducts at the front, rear diffuser, small carbon spoiler on the rear trunk, the M3 CS is an out-and-out sports car. Lighter by 50kg than the Competition Pack thanks to the use of CFRP, a mix of plastics and fibreglass, the 460 bhp of its straight-six M Twin Power engine with twin-turbo has no problem propelling the 1, 585 kg to 280 km/ h. Capable of 0 to 100 km/ h in under 4 seconds, the CS provides the driver and passengers the performance of a supercar while cosseted in Merino Silverstone black leather upholstery.
Our model, sold new in Luxembourg, is presented in a superb Lime Rock grey metallic colour, and incredibly has just 45 km on the clock ! It is equipped with several special options including ceramic disc brakes with 6-piston calipers, alcantara-clad steering wheel and the original BMW anti-theft device. This example is one of a limited series of 1200 built, 555 of which were destined for the US. It offers what must be a unique opportunity to acquire a BMW M3 CS today that remains just as it was on leaving the dealership in 2018, having been fastidiously protected from the ravages of time.
