This extremely rare car rolled out of the factory as a bmw 528i se before it received the full treatment from uk-based twr ‘tom walkinshaw racing’ – including a 3. 5l engine conversion that boosted the power up to 218 bhp. Twr were the uk authorised alpina agents from 1977 until 1983 when sytner became the authorised uk agents.
