Here at Old Colonel Cars we are delighted to have this superb BMW E30 325i Touring Auto. This is a June 1990 example, with Only 58, 000 miles from new. It looks stunning, finished in Lachs Silver Metallic with a rare, Cream leather interior. It also features Air conditioning, another rare option on the E30’s.
Its very hard to find a low mileage touring, most did many miles early on in their life, commonly covering over 150, 000 miles. The E30 touring has to be one of the best designed, classic estate cars. It features the same, 2. 5i straight six engine as found in the BMW E30 325 Sports etc, so it performs very well, with that fantastic straight six smoothness and engine note.
This E30 is a very solid, great looking example that benefits from full service history. Its a delight to drive and should prove to be a strong investment going forward.
The bodywork and paintwork are in lovely condition. Look closer, look at the many pictures and videos, its a very solid and rust free example. The Lachs Silver (Option 203) paintwork looks great on this shape and it has a lovely, deep all over shine. Look at the pictures underneath this car, look at the engine bay, all just as good. Solid sills, jacking points, original front wings still retaining the original factory sealer (rare now). It features a ‘IS’ front splitter and body colour side mouldings, giving it a sportier look. It also features the very sought after, 15 inch BMW BBS alloys, all in lovely shape.
Inside this E30 we have the rare option of Cream ‘Natural’ Leather (Option 295). This really makes this example stand out, its a lovely interior. The leather and seats are in very good condition, good soft leather with very little wear. This e30 has a lovely spec, with Air con, Power Steering, Electric windows front and back, Check computer etc.
The 2. 5i straight six engine sounds and performs perfectly. It really is a superb engine and suits the auto box on this example. It has a sports option, which makes the car pick up quicker and hold the gears a little longer. Its a very tight drive, suspension / brakes all feel good, the exhaust has very recently been replaced.
This E30 benefits from full service history. We have the original service book, original manuals in their original BMW book pack, folder full of old MOT’s / service receipts etc. In the boot you will find the original, roll up tool kit, first aid kit etc.
Low mileage E30 touring’s come up very rarely now, so if you are in the market for a lovely, classic E30, this example must be seen.
