Engine with increased displacement to 1300cc, «stage 2» camshaft, double valve springs, lightened flywheel, twin HIF44 SU carburetors, electronic ignition and oil cooler.
It also has a close ratio gearbox with straight toothed gears, reinforced clutch, quick shift selector, short steering gear, height-adjustable suspension with hardness-adjustable GAZ shock absorbers, stabilizer bars at the front and rear, crankcase protection in Duraluminium, «Minilite» style «GB» wheels with Yokohama A032R tyres, long-haul «SEV Marshal» headlamps, among others.
Very quick and with incredible handling, this MINI 1275 GT is an excellent option for those looking for a classic capable of providing hours and hours of pure sporty fun behind the wheel.

The MINI 1275 GT was produced between 1969 and 1980 and "replaced" the Cooper S in 1971, thus becoming the only sports model available in the MINI range. Even though the original 1275 GT did not have the same performances as a Cooper S, the 1275 GT was much cheaper which ended up making it a huge success and widely used in competition, with excellent results both in rallies and in track.
