Finished in classic Old English White, this 1969 Austin Mini 1000 Super Deluxe is a wonderfully honest and highly original example of Britain's most iconic small car.
Rather than being an over-restored vehicle, this Mini has retained the character and authenticity that enthusiasts appreciate. It presents extremely well throughout while still showing the small signs of age and use that one would expect from a genuine 56-year-old car.
Many original details appear to have been preserved, including the Lucas lighting, Triplex glass, original badging, steering wheel, interior trim and numerous period-correct features that contribute to its authenticity.
The body presents very nicely, the chrome remains attractive, the interior is remarkably well preserved and the engine bay has been maintained in an honest and unspoiled condition. The car is located in Portugal, approximately 10 minutes from Porto International Airport, with numerous direct low-cost flights available from across Europe. I would be pleased to collect any genuinely interested buyer from the airport.
