Here at Old Colonel Cars we have a superb, solid example of the BMW E30 325i Touring. This manual example has covered 107, 000 Miles. The E30 touring’s are getting very hard to find in this condition, this June 1988 example is in excellent condition throughout, all solid arches, scuttle panel, sills, jacking points, sunroof etc. The cloth sports interior is just as nice, amazing condition, those very supportive sports seats, the lovely E30 layout, a great, well designed interior.
This is a low owner example finished in Royal Blue metallic paintwork. As you can hopefully see from the many pictures and videos, the paintwork has a lovely, deep all over shine. This example would look good at any car show.
Inside, the Grey sports cloth interior is just as good, no noticable wear to the seats, lovely carpets, door cards, headlining etc.
The 15inch BMW BBS alloys are all in excellent condition, no curbing or corrosion. All are fitted with nearly new, Continental tyres all round.
The fantastic 2. 5i straight six engine is a delight to use. Starts without fuss, a lovely smooth, quiet idle. When you take this car out, this engine really is the star in this car, very responsive and such a lovely, straight six engine note. Everything sounds and performs as a good one should. What you will also notice is how light and smooth this car feels to drive. They were well ahead of their time and free of all the extra weight of modern cars.
The 5 speed manual gearbox is quite a rare option, most were autos. Its got a lovely tight feel, the clutch is nice and light.
This BMW benefits from a good service history. We have all the original owners manuals, a folder full of service history, ftom original sales invoice, old MOT’s, service invoices, even original sales brochure. This BMW was owner by one owner for 25 years, recently it was in storage for a few years, then had a full mechanical refresh, including cambelt etc.
