Summary –
* This lovely Lotus 7 was originally supplied with a 997cc Ford pre Cross-Flow engine and was subsequently upgraded to a Lotus Super 7 * with the addition of a 1500cc Ford pre Cross-Flow tuned engine and Dry Sump system!
* The car was subject of an older style restoration from 2002 / 2003 with all of the work carried out by well know Lotus 7 restorer and maker of the Xanthos Lotus 23 Replica, Henry Tombs.
* The car was restored for the owner to enjoy light competition use, Hill Climbs and Gymkhana’s.
* In addition a well know modification for Lotus 7’s, Series 1 and Series 2, was a Semi Independent Suspension with Panhard Rods and Lotus Eleven Alloy Differential. The conversion has been carried out on this 7 with the option of the lighter Lotus ‘Wobbly Web’ wheels.
The car has the original frame restored, original chassis plate and buff log book from new.
