1949 Peugeot P55 125cc: Superb little bike -totally original!
This delightful Peugeot is in totally original condition and boasts the most glorious patina. A rare UK bike; first registered on 1st June 1949, she is in original paint and is in just the most exquisite condition all-round and is a matching numbers bike.
I purchased her a couple of years ago from an elderly gentleman in Cornwall, where she had been in long-term ownership as part of his collection and it is getting really hard to find unmolested girder forked bikes these days. All she needs is an oily rag wiping over her and then you can ride off into the sunset -she is a perfect little bike to enjoy round the lanes on a sunny Sunday and will attract more attention at a bike meet than anything else there. This little twin-port Peugeot is beautifully engineered and will bring a huge smile to your face when riding her -she really is a wonderful little bike and far more interesting than a BSA Bantam.
A nice easy starting bike, she still sports her original transferable registration number, valued at over £1, 750 (HWY 295) and is classed as Historic, so she is Tax and MOT exempt and the V5 is in my name.
A nice easy starting bike -a video of her running can be shared; just message me and I can also send high-res images of the bike to you via We Transfer if required - again please just message me.
Viewing most welcome near Henley-on-Thames: RG9 5NB and I can help with courier/ or delivery if required -just ask.
A rare opportunity to buy a totally original, stylish, girder forked bike with hand-change, a valuable transferable registration and offering something a bit different and very good value at just £2, 150
