Beschreibung
We are pleased to offer to the market this original uk supplied series 3 fhc E type. Finished in regency red with biscuit trim and webasto sunroof. First registered on 21st April 1972 and been in dry storage for the past 16 years. The general condition is very sound. The only obvious rust is a small area around throttle pedal. The bodywork again appears sound although there are some flaws in the paintwork. It still looks presentable but up close there are imperfections. The chrome is generally good with the exception of a couple of the over riders. The pressed steel wheels are in fair order.
The interior would benefit from a good clean and the stitching on drivers seat has started to split. The engine runs with good oil pressure, however it will only run on choke. I would imagine carbs need cleaning etc. The gears engage and it moves backwards and forwards but we have not driven it any further due to not knowing condition of brakes.
It comes with a fairly large history file containing many old mots, repair invoices, original handbook and workshop manual
The chassis no is 1551050 Bw
Engine no 755490 Sb (matches engine stamp)
Body no 4S 53883
In our opinion this is a fairly straightforward recommissioning job, that will make a nice car. It is sound as far as we can see but we welcome any potential buyer to come and inspect it. We can email additional pictures on request or provide a walk around description over the phone. Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the uk after cleared funds.
We can accept debit card payments or bank transfer
