Unfortunately its time for our 1969 T2 Campervan to find a new home. We are selling the van because we are looking to go travelling in the near future and need to start selling our belongings.
Vinny really needs to be seen in person, being one of the best vans we have seen in years.
Vinny is a 1969 classic Volkswagen T2 Campervan with an original 1970 Devon Caravette camping conversion.
Restored in 2009 and re-painted in 2015, Vinny is kept almost completely original with only quality of life upgrades. The camping conversion in the back is in fully working order with:
• Slide out bed with supporting legs
• Cooker unit with 2 burner gas hob
• Sink unit with original hand pump system
• Factory fitted red faux leather sidewall panels
• Rear overhead locker space
• Rear- facing seat with underneath storage and larder
Vinny I ready to go and in fully working order. The engine was recently worked on to resolve cylinder issues, and the drivers side step area that was rusted out has been repaired and re-painted this summer at the cost of over £1000.
Service was last performed on 18 May 2022
MOT last performed on 13 July 2022 - valid until 12 July 2023 (although vehicle is exempt)
Tax exempt - Classic Vehicle £0pa
Thought to be off the road for a number of years, the van has no history pre-2009 other than the warranty card. All history from 2009 to present is accounted for.
The gutters, rear onside corner panel, passenger and driver door bottoms and a couple of patches on the roof have signs of rusting that will need attention in the next few years.
