Ford Taunus 20M 3000S. Factory V6 3. 0 Engine and 4 speed manual box. This is a RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Its fully Uk registered as its been in the Uk since 2020. This was a very well known car in South Africa and was the subject of a few magazine features. What a cracking looking car.
Body - 20M Taunus in RHD. Very solid car Good inner wings, floors, doors, boot floor , chassis. Looks all original underneath. All panels gaps are good. Paintwork is lovely with only a couple of very minor marks. Vinyl roof is really good as well. Its a good looking car which definitely stands out.
Mechanics - V6 Essex engine which starts and runs well. Recently been serviced. 4 speed box . Car starts runs and drives very well . Brakes and clutch are good. Has recently had a mechanical checkover at a reputable garage . restorer. . I believe its had some new poly bushes fitted, new rear shocks and all the brakes checked. Gear linkage is a wee bit notchy but once you get used to it its fine.
Interior - Very tidy inside. Original seats, door cards. Headlining is good. Two minor splits on seats as seen in the pics. Upgraded Wood rim steering wheel with original in the boot.
Wheels - 15 inch American Racing Wheels with nearly new Goodyear 205 / 55/ 15 tyres.
