1929 Austin Seven RK
Chassis 83123 was built on 29th April 1929 and registered ‘UR 3163’.
Purchased by historic preparer Walter Heale in 2018 as a restoration project, Heale completed the restoration by the end of 2020 and it was then sold to the current owner.
The Austin retains its original chassis, engine and body and has been completely restored to a high standard. Being an RK saloon the body is aluminium and has been repainted green and black with a black fabric roof. The interior has been re-trimmed in black leather with a grey fabric headlining and the dashboard instruments have been nickel plated. The all-important body number is still evident on the transmission tunnel covering and the scuttle vents and windscreen are all in fully working order.
As per records held by the Austin Seven register, the engine is original to the car and is correctly stamped on the crankcase and so too is the cylinder head.
