Jaguar E type Series 1. Built in February 1968 and despatched to New York in March of that year. 25, 000 miles from new with two US owners, complete with original sales invoice, handbook and service vouchers with the warranty booklet. Two UK owners, I have owned it for 10 years.
Body is totally rust free and has never been welded, still retains the lead seals on the seat belts where they attach to the floor. Panel gaps are as it left the Jaguar factory.
I have the heritage certificate where it confirms the original colour was opalescent dark green, which is a rare and stunning colour and would be amazing to be returned to this specification. It was changed to red in the US, but it was carried out sympathetically and behind the door cards is the original and perfect paint.
Drives really well and has that wonderful original ride quality, it still has the original dampers.
The car has so much potential given the fantastic condition of the body and very low mileage.
