Finished in the ever-popular colour of Pacific Blue.
This car comes directly from Steve at SJ Sportscars personal collection, so I'm sure that gives you an insight into the quality of this particular example.
It has covered 140, 000 miles from new, but don't let this put you off, as this is one of the most sorted examples you are likely to find.
Just a 2 previous owner car, with a cracking service history, from main dealers Bell & Colvill and Malmesbury Specialist Cars.
The car was used as a daily driver during its early cars, hence the high mileage, but as you'll see from the history, it was maintained to a very high standard.
Then in 2005, the owners decided to embark upon having a family, and the Elan sat in their garage for the next 15 years, when Steve then took ownership of the car.
SJ Sportscars then undertook a thorough re-commissioning of the car to include a major service, new brakes, new tyres, a new hood and many other parts replaced.
What we now have is a mechanically excellent example, and the cosmetics are also good, and much better than any 30-year-old car wearing 140, 000 miles has any right to!!
A walkaround video is on our youtube channel. The front end is very good, with no road rash. There is a small amount of road rash on the rear arches. The rest of the paint is very good.
The alloys present very well indeed, and although they aren't freshly refurbished, they are in very good order and show no curb marks or other major markings.
The interior has aged very well indeed, with just a small amount of wear to the driver's bolster, in the usual place.
