With us at RFH Classics we have this 1979 (T) MGB 1. 8 Roadster finished in Vermilion Red with a new Black Leather interior. We acquired the car from the previous owner who had owned it for the past 30 years and formed part of his small private collection. Unusually for the age of the vehicle it has only had 3 former owners. We have undertaken a light refurbishment of the vehicle which included new interior carpets, new boot carpet, new polished edge Anthracite Minilite style Alloy wheels with Toyo Tyre, Service and Carburettor overhaul along with a new battery. The car really does look exceptionally good and benefits from a near new hood with zip down rear window and half tonneau.
?Under the bonnet the petrol 1. 8 engine, which has been converted to unleaded, has excellent hot and cold oil pressure and is coupled to a 4 speed manual gearbox that has Overdrive to 3rd and 4th and again we can confirm works perfectly. Due to its age the car is exempt from needing an MOT however it is has a clean test until Dec-23. The screen price of this car includes a 3 Month Warranty and is eligible for zero rated historic road tax making it a very cost effective Classic to own.
