Great condition. Owned 7 years.
The Mk2 is a highly desirable version of the Midget. It has the early, chrome bumpers. Also, unlike the Mk1, it has wind up windows and the 1100cc engine. It comes with the fabric hood and tonneau cover.
I have steadily renovated the ignition and mechanical elements including new distributor with electronic ignition, high torque starter, new front springs, shocks, anti-roll bar, bearings, king pins, wishbones and new wire wheels and tyres all around. Refurbished original carbs were obtained from Andrew Turner and the car has been rolling road tuned by noted A-series/ SU carb specialist, Peter Burgess.
A long list of other components have been replaced during my ownership.
The interior is largely original. The car has been repainted at some time. The floor and 1 sill have been replaced under my ownership and there is no rust that I am aware of.
