Superb old car that drives, rides and handles really well, returning on average 50 mpg. The drive is smooth as well as quiet at motorway speeds. Terrific engine, clutch, gearbox and driveshafts. Good tyres (including spare), exhaust and an excellent interior that has never been smoked in or accommodated pets, now with cd / radio sound system.
Copper brake pipes fitted just under two years ago. Recent oil and filter change. New discs, pads and wheel bearings up front, new drums, bearings and shoes to rear. New + 150% H1 bulbs fitted to dips - plus much more.
Negatives: Blistering paint on roof and bonnet. Very minor corrosion to base of two doors. A sunroof that sticks.
Positives. A car that serves really well but is simple to work on with no sophisticated electronics other than the security keypad, a practical device that does its job. A few spares come with this car including front indicator lamps, headlamps + adjusters, auxillary drive belts, relays, glow pugs and bulbs.
