1977 Triumph Stag 3. 0 V8 Manual overdrive. Soft and hard top.
After much deliberation I have decided to part with 'Lily'. I always wanted a white manual overdrive Stag and after much searching she arrived seven years ago.
Although having been stood for some time she was actually in amazing overall condition bodily & structurally however I wanted her as she should be.
She was completely stripped to bare metal (with photographic records) with virtually no body repairs needed, prepared and re painted in the original Triumph 'Leyland' white (Code NAF). The underside is original with absolutely no signs of previous repairs with original floors, outriggers etc.
I refitted the car over a six month period (All documented) with brand new stainless steeel bumpers, hood cover and refurbished frame, carpets, alloys, original size 185/ 80/ R14 tyres, reconditioned overdrive by ' EJ Wards' door cards, radiator, recondtioned original 'Stromberg' carburetors, alloys etc.
Mechanically 'Lily' is totally standard with the exception of 'Powerspark' electronic ignition. She gets driven with enthusiam and in my ownership absolutely 100% reliable. I would happily drive her any distance with no quarms. She drives absolutley without fault and just 74000 miles.
The paintwork is unmarked and the colour combination (In my opinion) speaks for itself plus being a manual overdrive just makes her special!
In no way is 'Lily' just an average bodged up old Stag as many! I am asking the top end of Stag values and if she doesnt achieve near to the £25000 I am more than happy to keep her!
