Here is my 1974 Morris marina 1. 8 deluxe Coupe a very rare car. out of both 1. 8 deluxe Coupe and saloon there is 39 registered on the roads and the Coupe are the reares out of the 2.
I have owned a few classics over the years for capri's and Rovers to Rolls Royce's and the car that gets temost attention BY FAR is this Morris marina, I believe it is the colour that makes this car stand out so much ( harvest gold ) every journey In this car you'll get other cars flash, people wave, and if you stop to get fuel or go in the shops you will need to spare half an hour or so as people love to come up and have a chat about the old girl.
This car has under gone a FULL nut and bolt restoration roughly 7 or 8 years ago. With an entire photo album of before, during and after of the restoration.
This includes new floor, inner wings outer wings full respray, etc, etc, etc. I have owned the car for the last 4 or 5 years in with time I have had the carbs striped and rebuilt, engine services yearly, a complete new backing system front and back. All new sound system e. g speak, all wiring, and a modern but has the look of a period radio with all the old switches and dials but has Bluetooth, aux, etc. The front seats have been reupholstered last year to match the rear which is in perfect condition, all new carpet with proper sound deadening.
In the last 100 miles I have had a new exhaust fitted with stainless metal back box.
This car has been nothing but a pleasure for me but with a wedding at the end of the year it is time to see her go to a new home.
