County 1164 with Forestry Kit, Full cage, front blade plus hydraulic winch roof mounted forestry grab. (currently removed)
Cosmetically challenged, but now fundamentally usable for work.
If I were to keep this myself, I would just remove all the forestry kit and use as agricultural tractor at shows, now that it has link arms, pto, actually steers and stops etc.
6 Cylinder, 6. 6L non-turbo version.
At the moment, there are a few very highly restored County 1164's out there at astronomical prices. Also a lot of barn find ones that are cosmetically similar to this.
Few are actually mechanically reliable.

Registered as Historic with DVLA, Log book and County plate in hand. (some supporting docs, somewhere)
Now mechanically mostly-restored and working.
Over £25, 000 spent on professional agricultural restoration, with most receipts:
New, radiator, waterpump, alternator, starter motor, fuel injection pump, powersteering pump, rear lift-arms et al, PTO pump/ clutch.
Rear axle innards rebuilt, New clutch, gearbox stripped and fully rebuilt, with NOS gears an new bearings etc
Steering ram joints re-created, bearings etc, steering now lovely!
Front PTO hydraulic pump/ tank re-instated, new 6. 5 ton hydraulic winch installed on front blade.
New windscreen cut and fitted.
4 New MRT 329 Tyres on original wheels.
Cosmetic painting of Roll cage and outer HARA cab.
No painting of original patina tractor beneath forestry kit.
I have left this for new owner to decide how to go with tractor itself. Many over restored tractors out there.
Some very temporary electrical circuits attached to cab to aid road use.
Too much to remember!
So, what remains:
Top mounted grab/ hiab thing, in storage, did work on purchase, but will need hoses, bearings etc for restoration.
Believe Cab to be HARA? has no doors and only new windscreen glass. Cab has rust and need restoring if required.
Bonnet obviously needs restoring or replacing.
This tractor goes and works well now, gearbox tight/ new always starts, even in winter.
