Description
A very rare Lotus Elan. It is believed that just 10 of these were built before the tragic death of Mike Spence, who as behind the Elan BRM, at Indianapolis in 1968.
Accompanied by a lovely history file with an unbroken ownership provenance (4 owners), original spec and dyno sheets from the Elan BRM project as well as a set of original handbooks (user, workshop and service book) to this car in their original wallet.
Fully restored in 2014-18 but with as many original elements retained as possible including most of the interior. Mechanically spot on but still looks and feels original in the right places.
