The restorer's quote: "The reason for the sale is not to be seen in the low mileage and thus lack of driving pleasure, but with my wife. She has built up an aversion to this vehicle in the restoration phase because I devoted all my free time to the TR for over three years. In addition, she has an aversion to too much attention. When you're in a vehicle like this, you're naturally on display and inevitably become the center of attention. Because of this attitude, I am always alone on the road and literally must steal away. If I ever drive, I'm always gone too long and the domestic peace is disturbed, so I always have a guilty conscience."

There were 8, 400 cars built of the Triumph TR250 between 1967 and 1968 (15 months), all destined for the American market. Many can be found outside the U. S. today, mostly in Europe. The car is ready to go right out of the box and is in excellent maintained condition.
