the vogue for small convertibles, with fairly sporty handling. It is thus that the TR3 and TR4 models (TR for Triumph Roadster) enjoyed some success. But demand for more powerful models grew, which is why the brand moved to six cylinders with the TR5.
For the American market and anti-pollution regulations, the company exported a little under 8, 500 units of the TR 250, sporting the looks of a TR5, whose main technical feature is having two carburettors and developing 104 bhp.
The TR 250 would only be produced over two years in total. According to enthusiasts’ clubs, there would be fewer than 1, 000 registered worldwide.
The offered example is in concours condition and everything is absolutely original.
