This Pre HE XJS is in very good original condition. It has history from new and is in my opinion the best colour combination white with black leather.
The car is solid and running and driving well.
I have owned it 3 years and used is sparingly. It was fully serviced in June this year. The steering rack, front springs shocks and callipers were all done 5 years ago. The interior including headlining is all very good and the car drives well. It needs a few minor jobs doing to bring it to the next level but very well worth doing. There is a slight blow from one down pipe and the paintwork is in need of some redial work here and there. There is some bubbling to the bottom of drivers door and microblistering to one front wing and a few storage dinks to one rear wing. The car has just developed a fault. It runs fine for half an hour then if you turn it off it will not restart for about half an hour and repeats so something is getting to temperature and failing.
I have no time to sort this so price reduced. Get your self a bargainThe history is very interesting, it has had 12 owners. It was bought new in Hereford but was owned and used in London from its first year until I bought it. There is DVLA copies of all previous owners and letters form 2 previous owners who all knew each other from a golf club. There are mots from 1990 and plenty of invoices of work done over the years.
I?m only selling as I promised my wife I would reduce my collection. It?s my favourite of the three XJS. s I own and have enjoyed owning it.
