Description
We are delighted to offer this gorgeous 1937 Triumph Dolomite 14/ 60 Saloon, complete with the stunning and undamaged cast waterfall grill.
Fresh from a near 20K recommissioning, the car starts right away and is an extremely pleasant drive.
In the ownership of the same family for nearly 40 years, before it crossed the Atlantic, being restored in 1990 in the USA. The current owner purchased in 1999 and has enjoyed every minute with the vehicle, but sadly it is time to move it to a new home.
This car covered mega mileage in its time - by 1967 it had travelled 467K miles (with lots of rebuilds) and we believe overall it has travelled approx 600K miles! - they don't make them like this anymore!
The price is now £17900
UK and Irish delivery is possible, happy to assist you should you wish to have the vehicle exported further afield.
All viewings by appointment. This is a piece of history, really best placed for a museum.
However, what a shame to take a wonderful driving car off the road - it pretty much starts off the key first/ second time.
We have now a huge swathe of history relating to its ownership in the UK until 1974, before it was sold to the USA and then was restored over a ten year period.
It returned to the UK 1990 and at the time was the only roadgoing example of this car available.
Current owner since 1999, they have spent £20K recommissioning this example.
A hell of a buy for someone.
