The first series is the rarest, none in 1973 (reliability) and a few in 1974 (oil crisis) and the most sought after for its history, in its rare original colour.
History: bought new from Stewart Arden, a dealer in Bordeaux. (First registration document visible)
Built in 22, 940 units and only 356 imported into France, fewer than 200 remaining.

Mechanical: engine and clutch, drive shaft, refurbished. Braking refreshed. Fluids replaced. Cooling: original radiator refurbished, torquatrol fan OK, belt and hoses replaced. Running gear refreshed: electrical system revised, headlight relays.
Steering reconditioned: bearing, ball joints, tie-rod ends. Steering column adjustable in height and reach.
