It is a beautiful example in the ultimate combination of black on black from the factory. It comes with the original leather owners booklet, including stamped service book. There is also an excel spreadsheet detailing its history, along with historic photographs.
The car was generally serviced at Porsche Centres until being purchased by Redtek Porsche in December 2007. They then rebuilt the engine car mechanically over the next 5 years. Photographs of the engine and gearbox are provided. The car has covered approx 5k miles since this work.
It was then purchased in 2014 by a Scottish owner and well known forum and Porsche club member who maintained the car to a very high standard. He had a full bare metal respray carried out by a specialist body shop. It was done to the highest standard and the paint work remains like glass, with no defects whatsoever. The windscreen scuttle and corners were refurbed at this time and new rubbers fitted. Therefore this common 993 issue has been resolved. The wheels were also refurbished. The stereo system was also upgraded with new OEM style Hertz speakers, cabling and amp.
In 2022, it was acquired by Outlander Vehicles. As well as being inspected in house, it was taken to Porsche Edinburgh for a 111 point inspection. Any and all identified items being attended to by Outlander. The suspension was replaced with new adjustable Bilstein B8 shocks with H&R springs. Geometry set up thereafter. New floor mats were fitted with originals retained. It then went back to Porsche Edinburgh for a Major Service and follow up inspection, at which point the car was declared ‘perfect’. Porsche also supplied and fitted the genuine Turbo S front splitter.
This 993 now presents perfectly, with absolutely no dents or damage. Likewise, it drives perfectly and is a real pleasure to own. This is a genuine, no budget maintenance 993 Turbo. I just wanted it to be perfect and have had it inspected twice by Porsche and in-house. It went back to Porsche with the instruction to simply do anything that needed done. Anything it needed, it had. It is also lovely in the Black with black leather combination.
