Description
Restored in 2012 and with a mileage of less than 30, 000 km since then, this 1968 Camaro 396 SS is rare on our roads. Thanks to the revision of certain mechanical components and a complete restoration of the body and paint, it has become a superb car. The vehicle is in excellent condition, needing just a restart, including a fluid change, to hit the road.
BODY
Painted in a beautiful pearlescent pinkish-gray with black stripes, the body has been fully restored with new parts imported from the United States, including door panels, front fenders, floors, hood, front face, as well as custom-made sheet metal elements, all matched with a new paint job. Meticulous restoration work has been done on this vehicle. The engine compartment, trunk, and chassis are in good condition.
The tinted windshield is new, while the other windows are also tinted and in good condition (manual windows). The chrome Cragar steel wheels are in excellent condition, with a spare wheel also in good condition in its original housing. The Good Year Nascar GT tires are in very good condition, not cracked, but replacement may be considered depending on their age.
MECHANICS
The V8 396 big block engine runs perfectly, having been completely rebuilt. The automatic transmission, differential, transmission, power steering, suspensions, shock absorbers, aluminum oil and water radiators, front and rear anti-roll bars, polyurethane front suspension kit, electric fuel pump, brakes and accessories, starter, two stainless steel exhaust lines, and all other engine-related mechanical components are either new, rebuilt, or in very good condition. ELECTRICS
The electrical circuit has been completely replaced with a new one.
EXTERIOR ACCESSORIES
All chrome parts are in excellent condition, including emblems, handles, bumpers, headlights, tail lights, turn signals, chrome mirrors, moldings, fog lights, as well as all options corresponding to the vehicle's model year. The grille is new.
INTERIOR ACCESSORIES
The dashboard is complete with all original instruments and in good condition, as are the ceiling lights, handles, and original steering wheel. A laser CD radio is also included.
UPHOLSTERY
The black carpet, seals, black vinyl front and rear seats have been completely redone. The door and interior trim, also in black vinyl, are in good condition. The original black electric convertible top is in good condition, but a new one is provided with the vehicle.
