Opel Ascona is a large family car there were produced by the German car manufacturer Opel from 1970 to 1988. Opel Ascona was produced in 3 generations and in many different engine variations. Here is a second generation Ascona B there were produced in the period from 1975 to 1981. The car we offer for sale here is an original Opel Ascona 400 Conrero Rally car from 1981. Ascona 400 was a homologated version there only was sold to make it eligible to participate in the group 4 category of the rally. This Ascona B 400 is one of the last of a total of 268 built and heavily tuned by the well-known Italian car engineer Conrero. It left the Opel factory in Antwerp in 1981 and was delivered to the customer by Conrero in 1983 in a very heavily tuned version. The car is in almost 100% original condition with Conrero specification and appears without traces of major damage which is quite unique for such a vehicle.
