Finished in Flamenco red with TR7 decals and red tartan seat upholstry. This TR7 coupe appears to have been owned by the vendors since new and has covered just 8 miles since its last MOT in 2012. Whilst the car was running and driving on inspection, the Triumph has been in storage for some time and would require some recommissioning by the next custodian.
The Triumph TR7 was launched in the UK in 1976, and despite seeing high demand in the USA, it quickly gained a poor reputation due to poor build quality and its association with British Leyland. The 4 cylinder engine left a lot to be desired with Triumph customers that had come from its straight six powered predecessor. Although TR7 isn't quick in standard form, some light modifications can make it much better and with well supported clubs and specialists, parts should be relatively easy to come by.
