Hawk AC Ace/ Cobra Replica: Rover V8/ Nice Spec.
Hawk have an enviable reputation for producing some of the very best replicas of classic sports cars from the 1950’s & 1960’s. The ‘289’ series came in a number of variants but the V8 route utilising Rover/ Ford engineering was the preferred choice for the driver looking to capture the “feel and excitement” of those classic years.
It is a genuinely intoxicating package that Hawk marketed as:
“The Hawk 289 series combines both worlds - beautiful visual appeal and stunning performance with the ultimate engineering integrity. These cars will satisfy the most discerning of drivers”
Our car was constructed in 2001 by the Hawk factory and the owner, a retired engineer. The result was a very well sorted package that has provided lots of entertainment to three owners and covered just over 23k miles.

The Cobra comes with a large history file and is being sold by the executor of the last owner's estate.
Well used and enjoyed immensely the car has a lovely patina, looks sharp, drives well, sounds in rude health and has an MOT until next year.
As the Cobra has spent around 12 months in storage she will require some recommissioning by the new owner - this is reflected in the price.
This car needs to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated
