For sale 1982 Honda XR 500 R . 1982 individual homologation and normal XR 500 R PE01 registration in my name. 6 months old clean MOT so no worries for registration transfer. 3800 km slightly evolving odometer, mileage not certified. Rare bike as not imported by Honda France, conforms to original except rear mudguard (remanufactured by Maier), handlebars (aluminium), wider footrests and a few odds and ends. The electrical system has been rebuilt to European model with original switchgear to have horn, code/ headlight and brake light to pass the MOT.
The electrical system has been rebuilt according to the European model with the original commodo, to have horn, code/ headlight and stop light to pass the CT. Key switch added because practical for touring use when the bike is parked and which allows riding without the key in the lock. (All these modifications are reversible to return to the original, no part having been modified on the bike.) Possibility of sale with a 20-litre tank + pack carrier - see last photo -. Since renovation in 2023 (because unused for X years), the bike has covered around 2000 km on TT rides (Transat Verte and Creuse Moto Tour).
