This lovely example of the enduringly popular Austin Seven has been owned by the vendor since 2009. He is a true Austin Seven enthusiast, having grown up with one and having personally owned several of them since the age of sixteen (he is now in his eighties!). The condition of the car is a tribute to his enthusiasm and knowledge of the marque. It is painted to a high standard with dark blue sides, black roof, bonnet and wings, and pleasingly retains its original black leather interior, which has a lovely patina. It runs very sweetly and is only being sold due the owner's advancing years. He bought it in 2012, having been previously well restored, including an engine overhaul. It is supplied with a history file including restoration bills from Marque specialists, old MOTs, V5 document, old photographs of the car before being restored and a bill of sale from 1955 from a gentleman in Alphamstone, Bures, Suffolk for the sum of £50, a handbook and related ephemera.
