LOTUS ELITE MK14 1962 SERIES 2 UK RHD CAR FULLY STRIPPED FOR RESTORATION ***** DEPOSIT TAKEN****
Fully stripped and carefully boxed/ packaged. A UK RHD Lotus which was exported to the US sometime ago. Recently repatriated back into the UK. The Elite has the original factory body shell and all panels that will require full refurbishment. Most importantly the engine bay skis look satisfactory but would recommend closer inspection and possible replacement with my colleagues at MK14 Components. Also has the original factory engine, gearbox and diff. The engine is in excellent condition that should rebuild and the gearbox has had a check over and fitted with new oil seals, gaskets etc. It also has the correct bumpers and air intake. All correct instruments and fittings including the original wood rim steering wheel and boss badge. (happy to assist with advice re restoration, parts etc). I have checked all components and majority of the parts and unique parts are present. I am repairing one of the doors which required some fibreglass repairs for the door hinge brackets. Incidentally the door hinges bear the correct chassis number for this vehicle.
Parts required: front screen which was broken in transit, Hydura carpet set and other minor parts.
All VAT and duties have been paid and the UK V5 has been applied for. I also have a Lotus Certificate of Provenance with the vehicle.
A great project and excellent value. This is an opportunity to rebuild this Lotus to your colour and specification. The original factory colour was red.
