Literature: Original assembly and service manual purchased by me from Lotus Ltd in 1968. Missing parts: Battery. Jack. The Elite was appraised just after the works in 2019 at 75. 000Euros. This car was mine from 1968 to 1971. I was the 3rd owner and I was 18 years old. I have the purchase invoice dating from 1968. I was able to buy it back in 2007. The last Belgian registration is dated 29/ 04/ 1971. The last Belgian technical inspection is dated 23. 3. 71. The Belgian papers are present. The car has never been registered since, which is why it has a very low mileage. The car has never competed and all original parts are present. The subframe was bought from MK14Components Ltd in England, who have all the parts for MK14s. There are 4 new (unmounted) spare rims supplied with the car. The car is complete. The car is partially dismantled and needs to be reassembled. The most difficult repairs have been carried out: a new engine that needs to be run in and a new front subframe embedded in polyester. The suspension was reinforced at the rear. A new wiring harness was supplied with the car. A photo album of the work was made. It is superb in its 1959 Aston Martin Chiltern green metallic. Some write that it is one of the most beautiful cars in the world. The car is very well documented with all the most beautiful books in existence. I bought the service manual from Lotus itself in 1968. I still have the invoice as well as correspondence with Lotus about the problem with the rear wheel fixings. The car can be seen near Ghent. I am available for any information.
