Description
1933 FORD MODEL Y TUDOR
Description:
This is a rare early version of the popular Ford Model Y. For the first 14 months of production, the original model featured a short radiator grille, commonly known as the "short rad." In October 1933, the "long rad" model was introduced, with a longer radiator grille and a front bumper featuring the distinctive dip.
This particular example has been stored in a barn for the past 40 years and is now in need of some TLC. However, it remains very solid throughout. The engine turns over smoothly and has good compression.
The car still retains its original registration, which is transferable and valued at £1, 000. The current V5 is present, along with various receipts, paperwork, the original owner's manual, and a newspaper clipping featuring a previous owner driving the car in 1981.
