Description
Finished in Sea Green Metallic with Black hide, the car was originally supplied in Desert White in 1958 and repainted in 2018.
Thought to be one of 8 Aston Martin DB 2/ 4 Mark III's shipped to South Africa in 1958 by Aston Martin. The first owner, unknown but believed to have been a British mining engineer. First registration was TS 402.
In period modifications seem to have been the long air scoop on the bonnet, addition of an electric fan and fitting of a coolant expansion tank.
The car was shipped to the UK in 2016 and registered 348 UYP.
