Description

1930 Rolls Royce Sedanca de ville 20/ 25.
Coachwork by Barker London England.
These were built between 1929 and 1936 and succeeded the 20HP as Rolls Royce's small car. It was intended to appeal to owner drivers, but many were sold to customers with full time chauffeurs.
To the interior of our car is an elaborate brocade stye fabric with occasional seats and a cocktail cabinet. It feels as if one were in a 1900 Hotel room. She is finished with Black leather to the front. There is a privacy wind up window to separate the front and back of the car.
The exterior of the car is finished in Ivory and Black.
A capacious motoring trunk is fitted to the rear below the Quaint oval window. The coach work is quite upright & imbues the car with a period feel to it.
She starts on the button and motor's well. Driving comfortable at 45 mph.
We have just fitted a new set of rear tail, stop and indicator lights as well as new rear and side mirrors.
She is also fitted with a set of brand new 650 x 19 Custom Classic Tyres.
Chassis No. GSR78
Engine No. P6R
Only 4 owners from new.
Historic Vehicle.
She needs a bit of TLC (a good Restoration project) but runs well on the road with good brakes and gear changing and very reliable.
Priced to Sell.

Mr Paul Delbs Hoppe.
From Westbourne terrace, London on 26/ 09/ 1930

Second recorded owner.
Anthony smith.
From Shrapnel Rd, Bognor Regis on 03/ 09/ 2001
Third recorded owner Scott Younger.
From Madhurst, Arundel on 20/ 02/ 2016.
We acquired the vehicle as part of a wedding business which we have purchased in April 2025.
This vehicle is subject to requirements as we already run a 1935 Rolls Royce 20/ 25, So is now available for sale.
As previously mentioned this car has been used as a wedding car since 2001 and is still be used today to complete the bookings for this summer.
There is a number of paper and magazine cutting of the vehicle at different events and photo shoots, some in English and one in Danish.
The Danish paper shows the the vehicle went on a Rally in Europe in 1964 with Mr & Mrs Paul Hoppe.
There is only a small amount of invoices and paperwork that we hold for the vehicle.
The car is in pretty original condition.
