Vehicle history:
The Aston Martin DB2/ 4 Mark I offered for sale here was first registered on 2 May 1955 by its first owner K. C. Jeavons in Marton, United Kingdom. The original vehicle registration document from England is available. Up to the year 2000 the car had a further 6 owners. In September 2000 the AM DB2/ 4 was purchased by Dieter Crone from Erkrath. Later in the same year the vehicle was acquired by its current owner. In 2002 this Aston Martin took part in the Mille Miglia in Italy. An FIVA Identity Card is present. From 2002-2007 the owner had a very extensive restoration carried out at a specialist workshop for over €206, 427. In 2010 a new ignition system was fitted. The vehicle has been regularly serviced and very carefully treated since the restoration was completed. The current valuation report from February 2023 confirms this, with a condition grade of 1-. In addition, the car received a power increase from 140 bhp to 180 bhp. The Weber carburettor system was perfectly tuned by the specialist workshop Viktor Günter in Cologne. Fast, beautiful and well-maintained – this Aston Martin DB2/ 4 MKI fully lives up to that description.
