Vehicle history:
The Lagonda M45 offered for sale here was first delivered in 1934 to its original owner in the United Kingdom. Its registration at that time, AEL 950, it kept until 1996. Twenty-eight years ago a German collector bought the M45. The original paper logbook from England is still present. This M45 was restored from 1996 to 1998 without regard to cost. All screws were reworked and everything documented. There are some optimisations that make driving much more pleasant in today’s terms. Since the recommissioning on 26 June 1998 this Lagonda has remained in the same collector’s hands. Regular maintenance by specialists reflects the sensational condition of preservation after more than 26 years of restoration. The original engine was professionally overhauled again by specialists a few years ago and concurrently performance-optimised. This Lagonda has been driven a lot and regularly by the owner and is ready for the next outing.
