Description
This Jaguar E‑Type Series 3 pairs iconic design with the smooth power of a 5. 3‑litre V12 engine, manual transmission, and air conditioning — one of the most desirable specifications.
Built in May 1972 in Coventry and delivered to New York in June, the car was imported to Germany in 1986, where it was refurbished, repainted, and comprehensively overhauled. Since then, it has been meticulously maintained with no expense spared.
The bodywork, paint, and mechanicals remain in excellent condition. Original seats are retained but replaced for use with newly upholstered MX‑5 seats, offering greater comfort while preserving a classic look. Enhancements include a green Sonnenland soft top, Nardi wooden steering wheel, chrome wire wheels, luggage rack, stainless‑steel exhaust, and optimised ignition for reliability.
This matching‑numbers example was originally Willow Green, repainted in British Racing Green during restoration. It has been driven extensively on long tours without issue, supported by a comprehensive invoice history.
The car has been fully inspected in our specialist workshop, with no maintenance backlog. Ready for the 2026 season, it is offered on behalf of the owner, with continued service support available after purchase.
