This Jaguar E‑Type Series 3 features the powerful and refined 5. 3‑litre V12 engine, here paired with a manual transmission for uncompromised performance.
Built on 19 October 1973 at Jaguar’s Coventry factory and delivered in January 1974 to New York, the car was imported to Germany in the early 1990s. It was then stripped to bare metal, fully restored, and rebuilt at great expense — a process documented in photographs.
The superb condition of the bodywork, paint, and engine bay reflects the exceptional quality of the restoration. Finished in black, the paintwork highlights the precision of the craftsmanship. At the owner’s request, the interior was reupholstered in red leather.
This matching‑numbers example retains its original chassis, engine, and transmission. Since the 1990s, it has had only four owners in Germany, been regularly driven and serviced, and comes with detailed invoices for all work carried out.
The car drives perfectly, with its technical and visual condition thoroughly confirmed in our specialist workshop. There is no maintenance backlog, making it fully ready for the 2026 season.
