This isn’t just a Launch Edition DB11 - it’s the Launch Edition DB11.
Commissioned and personally specified by then-Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer, this one-off example was built to showcase the capabilities of Aston Martin’s Q Commission Bespoke Build Division. Used by Palmer himself, it served as both a company flagship and a demonstration of the level of personalisation Q could offer.
The car is accompanied by written confirmation from Aston Martin Bristol, verifying both its original ownership by Dr Palmer and its unique, bespoke specification. No other DB11 was built to this exact configuration - and none share its provenance.
Finished in special-order Signature Golden Saffron metallic, recently treated to a comprehensive ceramic coating, his DB11 instantly stands out from the crowd.
It’s enhanced with both the Q Carbon Fibre Body Pack (front splitter, rear diffuser, and side sills) and the Carbon Fibre Exterior Pack (mirror caps, side strakes, and bonnet blades), plus additional carbon fibre details including door handles, wheel centre caps, and AMR tailpipe finishers.
Sitting on 20-inch gloss black 10-spoke Directional alloy wheels with red brake calipers, the overall look is imposing and completely individual.
Inside, the unique specification and craftsmanship continues to reflect its individual status.
The heated and ventilated Sports seats are trimmed in metallic black AML Special embossed Caithness leather, with Iron Ore red contrast stitching. The seat embossing pattern is entirely non-standard - this specific style was not part of any catalogue option and is understood to have been created specifically for this car. The interior features the Dark Chrome Jewellery Pack, piano black gloss trim, Obsidian black carpets, and a Tailors Grey Alcantara headliner.
Technology includes the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound system, satellite navigation, Auto Park Assist with 360° camera, and a full selection of Aston Martin luxuries.
Under the carbon fibre engine cover sits Aston Martin’s twin-turbocharged 5. 2-litre V12, producing 600 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. It launches from 0-62 mph in just 3. 9 seconds, and on to a top speed of 200 mph, with aerodynamic trickery managing airflow across and through the body for both stability and drama.

This is a one-off DB11 in the truest sense: built for the CEO, signed off by the CEO, and driven by the CEO. No other car carries its story, its specification, or its unique role in the Aston Martin brand narrative.
