General description of a French car
Enthusiast owner selling a stunning Mercedes Pagoda 230 SL from 1965. This is a rare model of French origin. The bodywork and interior are in very nice show condition, rated 8/ 10. Solid car—absolutely no signs of rust.
The car is being sold complete with its original hard-top.
Maintenance & History
This vehicle has had rigorous upkeep, with a substantial body of work: around €40, 000 invested over the last 10 years. Please note: the engine is not original.
Reason for sale & Mechanical work to be done
The car is advertised at a particularly attractive price because a new camshaft/ shaft seal (spy/ gearbox seal) is needed between the gearbox and the engine, plus an ignition tune-up (the injection pump was replaced in 2023). Not having the time to take care of it, I’d rather sell it as-is.
Sales terms (Read carefully)
The car has been valued at €80, 000. Given the mechanical work needed, I’m letting it go for €64, 000 net.
IMPORTANT: The price has been heavily sacrificed. Therefore it is strictly firm. No discounts and no negotiation will be accepted on the spot. If you’re just curious or a ‘carpet negotiator’, please move on.
