Description
This is a very smart MGB in its very usable GT form, finished in Flamenco Red with black interior. The car is generally in good order and has a very good file of service records including invoices for maintenance and restoration work and old MOT certificates. Mechanically, it has been improved with upgraded brakes including drilled discs, suspension upgrades, electronic ignition, and Ivor Searle reconditioned engine, which provides excellent performance. Other improvements include the fitting of leather-fronted seats, Minator alloy wheels with recent matching tyres all round, and a new fuel tank. The interior of the car is good and tidy including headlining, the under-bonnet area is also very tidy, as is the boot and also the underside of the car. It performs very well, with smooth, lively engine and gearbox, together with properly operating overdrive. The braking is excellent due to the previously mentioned upgrades, so all in all, a very nice MGB at a very sensible price. The paperwork file also includes photographs of an earlier body restoration, and workshop manual.
