PLEASE NOTE: DEPOSIT TAKEN AND CAR NO LONGER AVAILABLE subject to completion. This is an 848cc Reliant Kitten DL Estate which I have owned from new, bought in 1977. It has covered 60, 000 miles and last ran in 1998. It has full service history and complete documentation of all work on it, mostly carried out by myself, both routine servicing and modifications. It has at various times been fitted with a tow bar, HD rear leaf springs, rear seat belts, electronic ignition, front repeaters, rev counter, clock, oil pressure gauge, map light and a radio. The most recent repair work was re-glassing of the front edge of the driver’s door, where the fibreglass was beginning to fracture. This is now complete and the door is refitted, but requires alignment (and slight skimming) to complete and get a properly good fit. All parts are present, including the tow bar, and original leaf springs, together with many spares, some never used. It has been dry stored since 1998 and as you can see from the pictures, will take some work to dig out of my garage. Obviously it will need to be trailered to its new home. It must be one of the few if not the only Kitten still in its original ownership, and being complete with all documentation including original Workshop Manual and all tax discs and MoTs it is surely an ideal candidate for a ground-up restoration.
