Ford Transit Mk 2 (1986) 4x4. this vehicle, I think was supplied new to the Electric Companies to enable their workers to inspect pylons, etc in the middle of fields. it was a. originally fitted with a petrol engine but now has a 2. 5l diesel and 5 speed box, its only disadvantage is that it makes the steering a bit heavy, could do with power steering bits from another Transit, and b. it was originally a Minibus but the windows have been taken out and repanelled there is a cab divider fitted, the conversion was done by 'County' (tractors) and its fitted with 205-16 tyres (Iveco wheels, I think) it runs fine, just like a normal transit in 2 WD, the front axle has free wheeling hubs, there is a bit of rust in the body mainly on the bottom of the rear doors, but nothing structial, will MOT for the asking price
