Welcome to the sale of my 1982 Alfasud Gold Cloverleaf.
Sold by "Brunel Motor Company" and registered on the 24\8\1982 to its first owner in London who owned the car for eight years. The second owner bought the car from "Ramponi Rockell"(this sales invoice is included in the substantial history folder) and owned the car for twenty three years, much of this time spent in Dublin, so no salted roads. I bought the car in July 2013.
The car has covered 67132 miles from new and comes with its original fully stamped service coupon book.
The interior, seats, carpet, door cards are spotless and completely original down to its original Pioneer period stereo.
The car is totally solid, never been welded and has been waxoiled repeatedly over the years.
Included in the sale are:
Original owners instruction book.
Original fully stamped service coupon book.
Original Alfasud sales brochures.
Original Alfa pouch with tools that would have come with the car when new.
Original car jack.
Spare set of Golden Lodge spark plugs.
I bought a cherished, solid Alfasud and had the following work done to make the car truly great to own and drive.
- All glass out, doors, hatch, bonnet off, interior out for a full respray in its original Aqua Verde metallic colour.
- Brake calipers checked, cleaned and greased and new brake pads fitted all round.
- New clutch slave cylinder and brake and clutch fluid replaced.
- New radiator, water pump, timing belts and tensioners and coolant.
- New distributor cap, rotor arm, leads and Golden Lodge plugs.
- New battery, and full exhaust from downpipes back.
- New OEM rear bushes fitted(included in sale are new OEM front bushes, car does not need them I am told)
- Alloy wheels refurbished and four new tyres.
- Oils and filters changed.
The car now looks and drives as an Alfasud should.
It won 2nd prize in its class (1st prize went to a Maserati) at the Classic car show in Limerick in 2014.
Potential buyers are encouraged and welcome to view this rare Gold Cloverleaf Alfasud. A two post lift is available for you to check out the originality of the underside of the car and you will need some time to review the folder of receipts, past mot's photographs of the car as I bought it etc
Overseas buyers welcome. I live 20 minutes from Shannon Airport, I can collect and drop you back there.
I can bring the car to any Irish port to hand over to new owner if required.

If you have read this far (then well done) you know that good, solid Alfasuds that have not been modified and require no outlay or work are rare and Gold Cloverleaf versions even more rare.
This Alfa only requires a new owner to drive and enjoy it.
