The first owner of this Corvette bought it new in California in 1977 and traded it into his local dealer for a new one in 1980. That’s when a lovely couple Errol and Sandra Tosterud decide to buy it. Errol was a Vietnam vet and after the war went into retail grocery business rising to become national sales manager for a large chain of grocers. The company instructed its senior management to buy high profile cars to how well the company was doing. Errol and his wife immediately fell in love with this Corvette whilst visiting the showroom. They have cherished this car since then, having owned it for some 36 years! As his age has now advanced he found that it was getting harder to use this car and the only other reason for selling was that his medical bills were pending so with a heavy heart he wanted to sell his beloved car. On the condition that we found someone who would take great care of her! He had the engine rebuilt a few years ago he also had fitted the stylish American racing wheels and the 1982 front and rear spoilers at the same time. The car also has power steering, power brakes and Air conditioning. The car has also had new seat trim, dashboard and window/ roof/ door rubbers.
