History of this car
Registered new in France on 01/ 03/ 1971 this SB series SM was originally a carburettor car which has been professionally upgraded to later EFI spec including seats and badging.
Our car has always lived in France and we purchased her from the previous Paris based owner recently and imported the car into the UK.
Mileage recorded of 71, 000 klms is believed genuine looking at wear items inside the cabin.

Our SM is sold with an age related registration.
Body
The body and chassis on our car are in excellent rust free condition, including the usual A post and screen channel rust prone areas which all appear factory fresh and sharp. Panel fit is excellent, shut lines are even and this SM is finished in gold, believed to be the original colour from new.
Paint finish is superb, with a terrific lustre and no marks or scratches.
The glass is security etched with the car’s chassis number and is in excellent condition, ditto the stainless trim including the sill trims.
Mechanics
This is a superb driving example with a powerful engine. Our car has been through marque specialist Brodie Engineering’s workshop in June 2017 who in addition to the annual service replacing plugs and oil also overhauled the fuel injection system with 6 new injectors and all new fuel hosing. The throttle received the Brodie modification, a lower ball joint was replaced, the steering centre point and tracking adjusted and sundry other items addressed, bill on file £2900. 00
4 new Michelin XWX tyres were fitted in 2016 (1400 Euro bill on file) and our car is fitted with Lumenition electronic ignition.
On 23. 6. 2017 the car passed it’s UK MOT test with no advisories.
Interior
Our car has a lovely original cloth interior with some wear and patina; excellent original carpets and headlining; a period radio telephone and stereo are fitted (both inoperative).
Boot
In very good condition with spare, toolkit and original matting throughout.

One of the nicest SMs you’ll see or drive, this car is outstanding value in the rising SM market; 6 months GEM warranty included.
